Totally made my day - and for a young kid thats a big deal. Thats not something I would attempt to do these days (in my older age! but what a great childhood memory. Teresa, Ive said this before in other comments, but this isnt the first time that the oil companies or the speculators took the blame for recession and high prices. The government is like a magician distracting us with one hand and doing the dirty deed with the other. When they print an excess of money (through their proxy the Federal Reserve) the result is more dollars chasing fewer goods, thus we get inflation. Somehow the oil companies have managed to get people in high places on their bad side and then get blamed for what is strictly a monetary phenomenon. The oil companies are saddled with an abundance of regulations and extra taxes and must navigate an extroadinary maze of obstacles to find and get that oil to the gas pump and other destinations. When I see all the cars on the road and the tremendous amount of fuel they are using, I am amazed and thankful to the oil companies for all they do to supply us with that oil. I really dont hold much hope for our country, as I believe that we have nearly reached the end of our republic/democracy as predicted over 200 years ago by Alexander Tyler.But maybe enough self-proclaimed experts like eyeswideshut will start using their intelligence to learn about free markets and the dynamics of liberty. And maybe we can get this freight-train stopped before it runs off the cliff.

My favourite stadium that is no longer with us is Jarry Park in Montreal because thats where I saw my first MLB game. Bob Robertson hit the game winning home run for Pittsburgh to beat the Expos.I loved going to the Forum in Montreal and Maple Leaf Gardens but Im not sorry that Three Rivrers Stadium is gone.There is one stadium Ive been to that is no longer in use; Olympic Stadium in Montreal. Thats because Claude Brochu, Jeffrey Loria, and Major League Baseball ran the Expos into the ground and they are now the Washington Expos..check that Nationals

HiMy name is Christian and I have always been interested in rotor craft. Over the years I have had various sightseeing flights in helicopters, but a recent flight in a Xenon gyro over the Hunter Valley in Australia has bit me hard. This year I am ready to learn to fly a gyro.

even after 20 years, the simpsons remains one of the best shows to date. i have seen all 459 episodes, and hope it never ends. (though it probably will sometime in the next 5 years) i also miss futurama and hope that crap with new episodes works out!
