Seriously, this is my view of one of my online writing groups. Most of the writers in there arent published. But when someone is published theyre excited and promote a lot. Im okay with that. Its the come check out my blog posts that bug me. Its like all they want are comments and page views. I dont mind a little self-promotion. But in the end it seems like everyones going to each others blog and maybe leaving comments. To me, this becomes somewhat cliquish.

I also was quite certain that if I could just get to Fantasy Island, I could make myself useful enough that they would hire me on. Theyd get a tutor for me so I didnt have to go to regular school, and I would have all sorts of great ideas about how to make peoples dreams come true.
